The Hen's March To The Midden

You can hear the fiddle imitating the sound of the hen cackling as it marches to the farm dung heap hoping to scratch there and find food - perhaps worms? Yuck!

Small people like to join in the hen's cackling, saying 'Cud-a-kit!'

This tune is at least 200 years old.

The piano accompaniment is in a typical Scottish style.
